Forming in 2009, The Smith Street Band have spent the last 15 years playing nearly 1000 shows across 23 different countries. They have graced stages at some of Australias favourite festivals including Big Day Out, Splendour In The Grass, Groovin The Moo, Laneway, Falls Festival, Good Things and abroad at Reading and Leeds (UK), Riot Fest (US), Hurricane and Southside (Germany). The list goes on! They have played venues theyd only ever dreamed of, including six hometown shows at the Forum Theatre and a staggering 15 at the Corner Hotel.
Since their debut album No One Gets Lost Anymore in 2011 The Smith Street Band have landed five studio albums and three live albums in the ARIA Album Chart, with 2020 album Dont Waste Your Anger hitting #1 after being released on their very own label Pool House Records. The list of achievements continues with six of the bands tracks landing in triple js Hottest 100 over the years with I Still Dream About You and Death To The Lads both landing at #21.
